Cardno's Michael Steiner, AWB, Purdue University will be presenting "Native Vegetation: Benefits to Wildlife and their Habitats" at the Tuesday, March 10th Southwestern Indiana Master Gardner Association general meeting.  Join us as we treck through native Indiana vegetations and wildlife habitats.

Michael is a senior staff scientist out of our Evansville office.  His projects include native plantings, wetland restoration, prairie installations, streambank and shoreline stabilizations, invasive species management, erosion control, avian surveys and bat habitat assessments.  In this capacity, he develops habitat management plans for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.  Michael is also involved in wildlife hazard assessments to mitigate wildlife strikes on aircraft under the Federal Aviation Administration.
