The Cardno Native Plant Nursery can help bring your native

restoration project to life. We provide top quality native seed and

plant material, natural bioengineering solutions, and professional

consulting services that ensure our clients complete restoration

and native landscape projects are aesthetically pleasing and

environmentally sound.

Since our founding in 1994 as the JFNew Native Plant Nursery,

throughout our transition in 2015 to the Cardno Native Plant Nursery,

the location of our full-service, 130-acre operation and our dedicated,

experienced nursery team remain unchanged. To this day, we

continue to deliver the same exceptional customer service and quality

native seed and plant material.

Our commitment to project success starts with high-quality native

seed. Independent laboratories test our seed to determine the Pure

Live Seed (PLS) ratio, which measures purity and viability percentage

of a given seed lot. The process ensures that clients receive the

highest quality seed for native restoration and landscape projects.

Our commitment to project success continues with high quality native

plant material. We use mycorrhizal fungi, a natural root maximizer,

to enhance the roots of all our native plants. Mycorrhizal fungi helps

increase a plant’s resistance to disease, drought, and insect damage,

while increasing its ability to capture nutrients. This promotes a more

rapid establishment of plants in their new environment.

Our native seed production and plant-growing processes undergo

strict quality assurance and quality control procedures. A disciplined

plant grading system drives the production and delivery of the

highest-quality plants. Rigorous native plant tracking standards

ensure we provide the accurate location and genotype-specific seed

that is required.

Cardno also provides a full range of environmental consulting,

engineering and field services, allowing clients to turn to Cardno to

meet all of their restoration needs. Our customized, turn-key approach

to restoration design and implementation results in thriving natural

solutions that are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

I would like to extend my appreciation to our valued customers and

our incredible nursery team. It is a privilege to work with you.

Note from the

Nursery Director

Restoring a native landscape can be a challenging, time-consuming task. But by

understanding the different environments and the plant species that inhabit them,

you can recreate these ecosystems.
